Tajikistan Embassy in the U.S.

The following procedure should be observed prior to submitting the documents to the Embassy for legalization.

A cover letter from requesting organization and one copy of each documests;.
Documents has to be authenticated in the following order:
1. Signed before a notary public;
2. Certified by the clerk of the court of the county in which the notary is commissioned *;
3. Certified by the Secretary of State of the State in which the document is executed;
4. Certified by the Department of State Authentication Office located at:

  * Item "b" may be omitted if the authority in item "c" will certify directly to the notary.
The legalization fee is $ 100.00 per document. Money order must be made payable to the Embassy of Tajikistan.
Those applying by mail must include a self-addressed envelope one of the following postage services: FedEx, Priority and Express Mail only with pre-paid postage. Embassy is not responsible for lost or damaged mail.
